Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain an efficient data pipeline architecture

• Compile extensive and intricate data sets that satisfy both functional and non-functional business requirements

• Design and execute components of data applications

• Collaborate with data and analytics specialists to enhance the functionality of our data systems

• Create and oversee security protocols and measures to mitigate the risk of external breaches and safeguard sensitive information

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a data engineering or software development position

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Proficiency with big data tools such as Spark and Kafka

• Familiarity with relational SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, EMR, RDS, and Kinesis

• Competence in one or more programming languages: Python, Scala, or GoLang
