Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain reports and dashboards that facilitate everyday decision-making throughout the organization

• Engage in an on-call rotation to maintain the reliability of BI services and dashboards

• Work in collaboration with Data Engineering, Analytics, QA, and Ops teams to ensure consistency in reporting, thorough documentation, and high data quality

• Discover and execute opportunities to automate reports, minimize manual tasks, and enhance the speed of insights

• Diagnose reporting issues and data discrepancies in partnership with engineering teams

• Uphold our data governance and data quality standards within the BI framework

• Improve reporting workflows and performance through ongoing process enhancements

• Convert stakeholder requirements into scalable BI solutions utilizing modern reporting tools

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, analytics, or reporting

• Proficient in reporting or BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI

• Practical experience with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake

• Strong SQL capabilities and a solid grasp of data structures utilized in reporting

• A keen interest in automation, scripting, and workflow tools to enhance reporting efficiency

• Ability to support critical business reporting needs as part of an on-call rotation

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities

• A curiosity about modern data technologies and AI tools to advance BI infrastructure

• Proficiency in English
