This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Design, construct, and sustain efficient data pipelines (ETL processes) to consolidate data from diverse source systems into the data warehouse.

• Develop and enhance data warehouse schemas and tables to cater to analytics and reporting requirements.

• Compose and optimize intricate SQL queries and utilize scripting (e.g., Python) to transform and aggregate extensive datasets.

• Implement data quality protocols (such as validation checks and cleansing routines) to uphold data integrity and reliability.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to comprehend data needs and provide suitable solutions.

• Document pipeline designs, data flows, and data definitions for clarity and future reference, following team standards.

• Manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently, prioritizing responsibilities and communicating progress to stakeholders to adhere to deadlines.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a comparable backend data development role.

• Proficient SQL capabilities and experience in data modeling and constructing data warehouse solutions.

• Expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Python) for data processing and pipeline automation.

• Familiarity with ETL tools and workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow or similar).

• Experience in implementing data quality assessments and working with large-scale datasets.

• Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities to engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
