Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Transition enterprise data workloads to Microsoft Azure leveraging cloud-native services.

• Create and sustain solutions using Azure SQL Database and Databricks.

• Execute secure data migration strategies to ensure minimal downtime.

• Set up and manage Managed Identity for secure access to Azure resources.

• Enforce data encryption, data masking, and security best practices to safeguard sensitive information.

• Enhance data storage, transformation, and processing for optimal performance and scalability.

• Formulate backup and recovery strategies for Azure data services.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine Azure data platforms.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Azure Data Engineering and cloud data migration.

• Strong practical experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Experience with Azure SQL Database.

• Proficiency in Data Encryption and Data Masking techniques.

• Practical experience with Managed Identity for secure authentication.

• Strong grasp of Data Migration Strategies and best practices for cloud migration.

• Familiarity with Azure Databricks and cloud-native data processing.

• Knowledge of Azure networking, backup, and disaster recovery for data platforms.

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
