This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Analyze and process customer, operational, and financial transaction data.
• Create scalable data workflows and reusable scripts to facilitate automation and reporting.
• Manage data models, metric definitions, and documentation related to analytics.
• Enhance SQL queries to boost data processing performance and reliability.
• Incorporate external data sources, such as ABS and Census datasets, into existing databases.
• Provide support for cloud-based data platforms and contemporary data lakehouse environments.
• Develop dashboards and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Convert business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Assist in tracking KPIs, operational reporting, and analyzing customer behavior.
• Aid in identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders within agile environments.
• Engage in planning, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Offer suggestions to enhance workflows, system reliability, and engineering processes.
• Adapt swiftly to changing priorities and evolving business requirements.
• Assist in the development of reusable templates, modular scripts, and data engineering best practices.
• Support other engineering or analytics projects as necessary.
• Identify avenues for process, system, and performance improvements.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Help maintain standards for data quality, governance, and documentation.
• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or software engineering.
• Strong comprehension of data pipelines, databases, and reporting systems.
• Practical experience with SQL, Python, and data transformation workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to modern data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT.
• Experience with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Capability to quickly learn new technologies and adjust to changing environments.
• Comfort working in agile, fast-paced, and collaborative teams.
• Experience in fintech, payments, financial systems, or large-scale datasets is a plus, but not mandatory.
