This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Contribute to the design and development of scalable data pipelines utilizing AWS services such as Glue, S3, Athena, and Step Functions.

• Build and enhance both batch and streaming ingestion pipelines, incorporating CDC-based architectures.

• Assist in the design and execution of data models that align with business and analytical requirements.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of pipelines and datasets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

• Implement best practices in data engineering, focusing on modular design, reusability, and governance.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and the quality of code.

• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization within data workflows.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Practical experience with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Glue, S3, Athena, and Step Functions (mandatory).

• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data pipeline development (mandatory).

• Familiarity with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse platforms (advantageous).

• Knowledge of data pipeline architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) methodologies and streaming ingestion.

• Background in data modeling for analytics and reporting scenarios.

• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools (advantageous).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in collaborative, agile settings.

• Proficient in English (advanced level required for effective communication with global teams).
