This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

• Play a key role in the design and development of scalable data pipelines utilizing AWS services such as Glue, S3, Athena, and Step Functions.

• Create and enhance both batch and streaming ingestion pipelines, including architectures based on Change Data Capture (CDC).

• Assist in the design and implementation of data models that meet business and analytical requirements.

• Maintain data quality, reliability, and performance across all pipelines and datasets.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

• Implement best practices in data engineering, focusing on modular design, reusability, and governance.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and improve code quality.

• Actively identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization within data workflows.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Practical experience with the AWS ecosystem, particularly Glue, S3, Athena, and Step Functions (mandatory).

• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for the development of data pipelines (mandatory).

• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms (preferred).

• Knowledge of data pipeline architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) methodologies and streaming ingestion.

• Background in data modeling for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools (preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated capacity to work effectively in collaborative, agile settings.

• Proficient in English: Advanced level (necessary for effective communication with international teams).
