Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance the data and analytics infrastructure.

• Work collaboratively with an expanding team in the realm of big data computing.

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance big data infrastructure utilizing frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, or similar.

• Construct data pipelines, data services, data warehouses, and platforms for BI and ML.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in data-related and data management roles.

• Extensive expertise in designing and constructing data warehouses and big data analytics systems.

• Hands-on experience in manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing data.

• Self-motivated and driven, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a passion for solving problems.

• Proficiency in professional English (B2/C1).

• Familiarity with cloud-based managed services such as Airflow, Glue, Elastic stack, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure SQL Db, EMR, Azure, Databricks, Altiscale, or Qubole.

• Previous experience with notebooks like Jupyter, Google Collab, or similar tools.
