This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and maintain data pipelines. Create pipelines that gather and process data from APIs, files, and external systems.
• Contribute to workflow orchestration. Utilize tools such as Dagster (or similar) to establish and uphold data workflows.
• Assist with data modeling initiatives. Help organize datasets and transformation layers to enhance usability and consistency.
• Address real-world data challenges. Examine data inconsistencies, manage schema alterations, and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
• Enhance reliability over time. Introduce monitoring, logging, and checks to increase system observability and stability.
• Collaborate with the team. Engage closely with senior engineers and other teams to understand challenges and execute solutions.
• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with some familiarity with data pipelines or distributed systems.
• Strong desire to learn and a willingness to receive feedback and adapt quickly.
• Capability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and seek assistance when necessary.
