This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration and processing solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

• Ensure the availability, quality, and traceability of information by constructing and orchestrating scalable data pipelines.

• Orchestrate data integration processes from various sources, including relational databases, on-premise systems, APIs, and cloud services.

• Configure and manage Linked Services, Integration Runtime, and Self-hosted Integration Runtime.

• Implement data transformation and preparation processes using Mapping Data Flows.

• Manage data loading and storage in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Develop queries and transformation processes using SQL and Python.

• Implement version control and continuous deployment mechanisms using Git and Azure DevOps.

• Apply best practices for security, governance, and data access using Key Vault, Managed Identities, and RBAC.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of data integration and loading processes.

• Document developments, integration flows, and operational procedures associated with the implemented solutions.

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Experience in designing and orchestrating ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Oracle Database.

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Blob Storage.

• Solid knowledge of SQL.

• Experience in development using Python.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Experience in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of security in Azure (Key Vault, Managed Identities, and RBAC).

• Experience in data integration from on-premise systems, APIs, and cloud services.
