Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance services for loading, transforming, and utilizing data, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and the most effective tools available in the industry;

• Work closely with data science and operations project managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business requirements and assist in projects that depend on data infrastructure;

• Actively seek enhancements in scalability, resource efficiency, latency, and flexibility for our data services;

• Proficient in data manipulation programming, especially with Python;

• Background as a software engineer on Data Warehouse / ETL initiatives;

• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Metabase, Power BI);

• Possess a product-oriented mindset, evaluating engineering expenses in relation to product benefits;

• Strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB);

• Experience with technologies like Kafka, Cassandra, Airflow, and Spark;
