Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data retrieval and processing from APIs;

• Clean and convert raw data into structured formats;

• Identify and resolve issues related to API requests and data handling;

• Continuously enhance the project/application by optimizing performance, adding features, and following best practices;

• Generate, analyze, and visualize reports using Tableau to aid business decision-making;

• Create and manage dashboards, filters, and data visualizations to deliver insights;

• Collaborate with teams to ensure the accuracy of data and efficiency of the system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer;

• Proficiency in Python, particularly for data processing and automation;

• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and authentication methods;

• Understanding of data structures and proficiency in using Pandas for data manipulation;

• Experience with SQL for querying and analyzing structured datasets;

• Capability to create and interpret Tableau reports and dashboards;

• Basic knowledge of financial concepts and experience with financial data;

• Basic experience with Docker is an advantage.
