This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Engage in strategic initiatives related to migration, integration, automation, and process enhancement.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that connect OMS/EMS, risk/performance systems, internal platforms, custodians, and administrators.
• Create data pipelines that can uncover business opportunities utilizing both internal and external data.
• Construct and uphold high-reliability, high-performance ETLs/ELTs.
• Develop integrations through APIs, SFTP, messaging, or proprietary connectors.
• Document processes, data flows, and technical solutions for future reference, ensuring shared and preserved knowledge.
• Collaborate with business analysts to establish calculation rules, granularity, data quality, and key fields.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, performance, governance, and cost-effectiveness, thereby delivering value to the organization.
• Education in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in data engineering within the financial market.
• Strong proficiency in Databricks.
• Experience in optimizing ETLs and configuring clusters.
• Expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to address complex issues related to data and technology systems.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with investment system implementation or migration projects.
