This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Deliver essential technical execution and analytical guidance, serving as a catalyst in converting raw data into well-structured, production-ready data models.
• Ensure that cross-functional teams have uninterrupted access to uncompromised, high-performance, and real-time datasets.
• Tasked with deconstructing outdated data workflows, engineering scalable data pipelines, and implementing strict validation standards to ensure data reliability and the health of the pipeline.
• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in dedicated data-centric engineering or advanced analytics positions.
• Outstanding capability to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries for extensive data transformations, validation, and analytics reporting.
• Significant hands-on experience utilizing Python to create custom data processing workflows, automation scripts, and pipeline connectors.
• Direct experience in designing, managing, and indexing high-performance data models directly within Snowflake.
• Production experience in developing modular, tested, and well-documented data transformation code using dbt.
• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud environments (e.g., S3, EC2, or associated data orchestration services) that support scalable storage and execution.
• Strong understanding of data validation, data quality frameworks, and troubleshooting for pipeline health.
• Familiarity with next-generation data orchestrators such as Dagster or Apache Airflow (Nice to have).
• Previous experience dealing with marketplace dynamics, transactional data, matching algorithms, or user-behavior metrics (Nice to have).
