This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Evaluate business workflows to uncover opportunities for data automation and AI-enhanced process optimization.
• Create, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines and integrations, including ingestion from unreliable or unstructured third-party sources.
• Develop LLM- and agent-driven solutions for tasks involving data transformation, validation/testing, and extraction.
• Containerize data and AI workloads using Docker and deploy them on cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept to swiftly validate ideas — encompassing both data pipelines and AI-powered workflows.
• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to refine requirements and iterate on solutions.
• Assist in the deployment and integration of data and AI solutions into production environments.
• Continuously enhance data processes through automation and AI-driven strategies.
• Contribute to practices related to data modeling, quality assurance, and observability.
• Over 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Solid data engineering foundation with the capability to design and manage solutions from start to finish.
• Expertise in Python, Airflow, dbt, and Redshift for data processing, pipeline development, and transformation tasks.
• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations, including the retrieval and normalization of data from unreliable third-party sources.
• Practical experience with LLM/agent-based automation applied to business processes (for instance, creating agents or LLM-driven workflows for data transformation, testing, or extraction).
• Familiarity with contemporary AI tools — including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), RAG patterns, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks (such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
• Cross-functional adaptability: comfortable extending beyond pure data engineering tasks into related areas — light DevOps (Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployment), backend integration, and basic frontend development when needed for a proof of concept.
• Strong communication skills — capable of articulating technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and proactive: able to identify workflow inefficiencies and drive improvements with minimal oversight.
• Product-focused mindset: collaborate with business teams, propose solution strategies, develop quick proofs of concept, iterate based on feedback, and support production deployment.
• Direct collaboration with a successful, long-term, and growing project.
• Flexible work arrangements available.
• A collaborative and supportive team culture.
• Highly competitive salary.
• Assistance and support from our dedicated HR team.
