Data Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop AI systems utilizing GCP and Python.

• Oversee data management within Cloud environments.

• Create orchestration for multi-domain agents.

• Collaborate on various AI initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of focused experience in Data engineering with a strong understanding of AI.

• Proficiency in managing data on Cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

• Extensive experience with Python programming.

• Skilled in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in designing comprehensive end-to-end agentic AI systems using Google ADK, Vertex AI Agent Engine, and Gemini models.

• Ability to design multi-domain agent orchestration that integrates over 10 business domains into cohesive interfaces.

• Experience in implementing proprietary communication protocols (e.g., AG-UI Protocol) to facilitate bidirectional LLM-to-frontend streaming.

• Capable of implementing dual deployment strategies: serverless (Cloud Run) and managed AI runtime (Vertex AI) from a single codebase.

• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitHub.
