Data Development & Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the maintenance of efficient and effective processes for data collection and reporting.

• Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee that improvements to existing systems or the introduction of new systems yield accurate, high-quality information.

• Utilizing Azure DevOps to construct and deploy code across various environments.

• Handling ad hoc data requests to meet the needs of stakeholders.

• Proactively exploring methods to leverage the Azure stack and Databricks platforms to present data in innovative, clear, and concise formats, applying this knowledge to benefit both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to create innovative data solutions.

• Managing tickets, service requests, incidents, and problems promptly using the Service Now ITSM tool.

• Adhering to the Data Protection Act along with security and confidentiality regulations.

• Staying updated on relevant industry and technological advancements and integrating them into LI's technical capabilities.

• Additional duties may be assigned by your line manager as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in querying and manipulating databases with SQL.

• Proficient understanding of Databricks and Python.

• Familiarity with data ingestion processes and principles of data warehousing.

• A strong grasp of cloud computing technologies and environments.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team setting.

• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving business needs and priorities.

• Experience in Agile delivery environments and participating in SCRUM teams.

• Proficient in using Azure DevOps for managing tasks, workloads, and delivery activities.

• Familiarity with the Azure Cloud Platform and its associated services.
