Data Consultant, Qlik Sense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reporting solutions utilizing Qlik Sense

• Utilize SQL to extract, transform, analyze, and validate extensive and intricate datasets

• Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and business teams to comprehend challenges and pinpoint opportunities for improvement

• Convert business requirements into analytical solutions and data visualizations

• Examine existing processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies and proposing data-driven enhancements

• Assist decision-makers by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights

• Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote adoption and maximize business value from analytics solutions

• Contribute to the ongoing development of reporting and analytical capabilities within client environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or in a similar analytical position

• Strong background in delivering analytics and reporting solutions within business contexts

• Experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and translating business needs into analytical solutions

• Background in logistics or supply chain environments is highly regarded

• Professional proficiency in English

• Portuguese or European citizenship, or a valid work permit for Portugal

• Extensive hands-on experience with Qlik Sense

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including handling large and complex datasets

• Experience in designing and developing analytical dashboards, reports, and visualizations

• Ability to independently analyze data and derive business insights

• Knowledge of Power BI is a significant advantage

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to business users

• Experience collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver practical, value-oriented solutions

• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus

• Exposure to international projects or multicultural teams is a plus

• Familiarity with both Qlik Sense and Power BI platforms is a plus

• Experience supporting logistics, operations, or supply chain transformation initiatives is a plus
