• Accountable for overseeing daily service operations at the Data Center Services Center of Excellence.

• Holds full responsibility for daily operations within the Data Center Service segment and plays a key role in developing our surge team.
• Enhances service availability, quality, and customer satisfaction across all field service initiatives.
• Formulates, executes, and assesses field service strategies that align with global business goals.
• Maintains a strong customer focus, urgency, and care in all service interactions to promote retention.
• Champions continuous improvement, first-time-right execution, and KPI-driven performance management.
• Recognizes on-site opportunities to improve customer operations.
• Fosters a culture of operational excellence, risk management, and effective end-to-end service delivery.
• Manages resource allocation, workload distribution, and adherence to all HSE standards and ABB Way requirements.
• Supervises Surge Team operations, including onboarding, training, compliance, and validation of timesheets, expenses, and supplier invoices.
• Offers leadership, coaching, and development for Field Service Engineers/Technicians to ensure high-quality execution.
• Collaborates with ABB teams to assign personnel, troubleshoot technical issues, support project execution, and encourage continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies, field service personnel development, and the electrical industry within the Data Center sector.
• Proficiency in the MS suite of products, including MS Project, and Google suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides), SAP, and project issue resolution software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore, etc.).
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Technical expertise in power delivery equipment such as transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, etc.
• Uphold high standards for safety and housekeeping while ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership skills, clear communication, teamwork abilities, and a proven customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
