This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the support of the client’s Azure Data platform and Power BI Environment, addressing any escalations while assisting in analyzing and resolving incidents within the customer environment.
• Consult, develop, and provide guidance on solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure tools such as Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure ML, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Offer consultation, development, and advice on Power BI, covering governance, strategy, report creation, and performance optimization.
• Continuously learn, apply, and enhance skills in data engineering and data analytics.
• Actively mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback on their performance and contributions.
• Design and implement data pipelines, models, and AI-driven solutions for clients across various industries.
• Collaborate with customers on licensing related to Microsoft data solutions, understanding the advantages and limitations of each licensing framework.
• Assume responsibility for the quality of deliverables and solutions provided.
• Assist in estimating work tasks for oneself and others.
• Communicate the status of tickets to all relevant parties and escalate issues when necessary.
• Engage with clients to identify problems, troubleshoot efficiently, and follow up on issues through email, ticketing systems, and phone calls, translating technical issues and solutions into business-friendly terms.
• Deliberately cultivate relationships with client teams.
• Prioritize tasks effectively, seek clarification when priorities are ambiguous, and complete assignments as required.
• Quickly identify when escalation is necessary and take appropriate action.
• Develop and maintain current documentation for each client’s environment.
• Advocate for best practices both for clients and internally to enhance and improve organizational processes.
• Contribute periodically to one or more 3Cloud internal communities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent certification and experience.
• Experience in a support role with a solid understanding of standard support processes (e.g., ITIL).
• Over 3 years of experience working with data and business intelligence solutions on the Microsoft tool stack for Business Intelligence (ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, etc.), or alternative vendor Business Intelligence tools (Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, SAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong enthusiasm for problem-solving and exploring new technologies.
• Skills in client relationship management and experience working with vendors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
