Data Architect – Data Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance data architectures, ensuring solutions are scalable, governed, and efficient;

• Set standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for the data ecosystem;

• Offer technical assistance to engineering teams during the implementation of proposed solutions;

• Convert business requirements into structured, sustainable data solutions;

• Engage in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders with clarity and depth;

• Assess and recommend solutions in cloud environments, taking into account performance, cost, and security;

• Collaborate on the integration of data from various systems, including SAP and operational platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in data architecture, including participation in solution design (not solely implementation);

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), particularly in architecture design;

• Understanding of data modeling and the establishment of integration standards;

• Experience with contemporary data ecosystems (data lakes, data warehouses, pipelines, etc.);

• Strong and structured communication skills, particularly in articulating technical decisions;

• Consultative mindset, demonstrating autonomy and a critical perspective on solutions.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) or master data management;

• Understanding of operational/industrial data and systems (OT);

• Experience with SAP environments and integration with data platforms;

• Prior involvement in digital transformation or architecture modernization projects;

• Familiarity with tools such as Databricks (when viewed in an architectural context);

• Experience with data governance and data quality.
