Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive data and AI solution architecture across contemporary cloud data platforms.

• Create and implement enterprise-level data architectures across SOO → SOR → CDM (Curated) layers.

• Lead essential Data Architecture disciplines, including:

• - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; MDM and reference data; metadata, lineage, and governance.

• Design and construct scalable batch and real-time data pipelines utilizing lakehouse and warehouse patterns.

• Enable and assist AI / ML use cases on data platforms, covering feature engineering, model integration, orchestration, and monitoring.

• Provide architectural guidance on production-grade systems, addressing CI/CD, security, performance, and observability.

• Collaborate with engineers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to agree on architectural tradeoffs and delivery decisions.

• Serve as a proactive thought partner, recognizing opportunities for simplification, acceleration, and AI-driven value generation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering roles.

• Strong consulting background with a history of delivering complex, client-facing initiatives.

• Extensive hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing data pipelines and orchestration (Airflow, ADF, dbt).

• Experience with distributed data processing using Spark.

• Strong experience in designing SOO / SOR / CDM architectures and dimensional data models.

• Solid understanding of lakehouse and data warehouse methodologies.

• Cloud implementation experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP (at least one at a production scale).

• Practical experience in delivering AI-enabled solutions to production, not just in experimental settings.

• Comfortable working across multiple workstreams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on execution.
