Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from generation through ETL pipelines to data accessibility.

• Data Architecture & Infrastructure: comprehending the technical framework and infrastructure that support the organization's data requirements, encompassing storage, integrations, and analytics platforms.

• Task Prioritization: working in collaboration with technical and business teams to grasp data necessities and priorities, effectively conveying the significance of data initiatives, and prioritizing tasks by establishing a roadmap that balances the demands of various stakeholders.

• Data Profiling: examining data types, relationships, patterns, and trends to gain a deeper insight into the data.

• Requirements Definition: partnering with internal and external stakeholders to collect and document clear, specific, and attainable data requirements, including how the data should be formatted for use.

• Business Process: comprehending business workflows to make informed assumptions about sources, entities, and attributes required to address business inquiries.

• Validation: confirming products with users to ensure they fulfill needs and expectations, utilizing data and metrics to guide decisions.

• Performance Analysis: observing and evaluating product performance using metrics and KPIs to measure success, track the efficacy of data initiatives and investments, and promote continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

• AI Enablement: facilitating the integration of AI into team workflows to enhance performance.

• Team Leadership: guiding cross-functional teams—including data scientists, engineers, and analytics specialists—to create and deliver high-quality data products; attracting, retaining, and nurturing top data talent through mentoring, training, and growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a Data Architect, including leading teams.

• Proficiency in Data Platform, Data Visualization, Salesforce Integration, or Advanced Analytics.

• Familiarity with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience in migrating data platforms to the cloud.

• Background in building data platforms both on-premises and in the cloud.

• Proficient with commonly used operational tools such as HubSpot, Workday, Segment, or Braze.

• Experience with project management tools.

• Knowledge of AI/ML.

• Advanced/Fluent English skills.
