This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that cater to cross-functional data requirements.
• Construct, deploy, and enhance analytical dashboards and various reporting tools to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Develop well-structured, testable code in Python, R, and SQL to support analytics workflows.
• Guide the development of best practices for version control, documentation, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists to transition analytics products from prototype to production.
• Identify and incorporate AI-driven tools to improve data processing and reporting functionalities.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related areas.
• Over 7 years of post-internship practical experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL, with experience in operationalizing analytics at scale.
• Strong familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Expertise in designing data architecture and maintaining complex data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Databricks and other cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
• Experience applying AI to optimize or enhance data workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Preferred experience working with patient-level data or in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, FDA).
