Data and AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and executing EC-funded IT projects;

• Development of comprehensive documentation and reports for R&D initiatives and business development efforts (including requirements, conceptual models, specifications, implementation and integration plans, etc.);

• Creation, development, and documentation of novel manufacturing technologies and solutions, encompassing AI for manufacturing, greening production lines, personalized production, and other pertinent projects;

• Design and execution of innovative manufacturing processes and technologies for the forthcoming generation of intelligent production lines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Robotics, Data, and AI engineering, preferably complemented by a PhD focusing on software development;

• Practical expertise in robotics and AI open-source libraries, such as ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras, is preferred;

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams, showcasing a proven track record;

• Ideally, 2 years of experience in National or European research programs in ICT;

• Strong background in software design and development, understanding of the software development lifecycle, and ICT project management;

• Experience in production engineering, robotic applications, IoT, and AI for manufacturing, particularly regarding manufacturing and industrial requirements;

• Proficient command of both written and spoken English and Greek;

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment;

• Strong analytical abilities coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving;

• Experience in crafting H2020/Horizon Europe proposals and coordinating or executing relevant projects.
