This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate on analytics projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of hiring processes at Dropbox.
• Provide clarity from uncertainty by organizing complex data and stakeholder narratives, establishing analytical rigor, and driving actionable insights.
• Track and evaluate key Talent Acquisition metrics, identifying trends and uncovering the “what” and “why” behind variations in performance.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, lead requirements gathering efforts, and translate business inquiries into analyses and insights for People and business leaders.
• Address complex business queries through independent exploration and data forensics, utilizing the data warehouse.
• Ensure data validity, standardize definitions and calculations, and contribute to shared data toolkits and enablement resources.
• Approach employee experience as a product by employing product management and design thinking, prototyping solutions, and driving execution through project management and data-informed iterations.
• BA/BS degree in an analytical or quantitative field such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related area.
• Over 3 years of experience in an HR-focused, stakeholder-facing Data Analytics role, with at least 1 year dedicated to Recruiting/Talent Acquisition insights.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel; familiarity with statistical or analytical tools like R or Python.
• Excellent data storytelling abilities, including choosing suitable analytical methods and visualization techniques for diverse audiences and decision-making contexts.
• Demonstrated capability to analyze large, intricate datasets, synthesize insights rapidly, and communicate actionable recommendations effectively.
• Experience managing analytics projects from start to finish, encompassing problem identification, analysis, execution, and impact assessment.
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools within work processes.
• Strong creative and critical thinking skills, thriving in a dynamic, multifaceted, and ambiguous environment.
• A collaborative mindset with proactive support for teammates and shared objectives.
• Experience in conceptualizing employee experience as a product and applying product management methodologies, including roadmapping, user journeys, and feature prioritization, to HR initiatives.
• Proficient in design thinking methodologies, rapid experience prototyping, and data-driven iteration cycles.
