Data Analytics Intern, Risk & Fraud

📋 Description

• Advocate for a data-driven culture by utilizing data to address business inquiries and influence strategy and decision-making.

• Manage and streamline raw data by accessing, cleaning, and organizing it to fit the needs of yourself, your team, and stakeholders.

• Create visual representations of data to enhance understanding by developing automated dashboards and funnels for various internal teams.

• Tackle challenging business questions using data to guide strategy and decision-making. This includes conducting experiments and impact analyses to assess the effects of changes, drawing conclusions from data, and relating insights back to key business metrics or KPIs. Additionally, you will analyze user behavior patterns to provide informed recommendations that enhance product performance and mitigate risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to extract, clean, and manipulate large, complex data sets to transform them into understandable narratives for business stakeholders.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries and conducting data analysis using Python, with familiarity in analytics tools such as Looker, Amplitude, DBT, and Snowflake.

• Possess a natural curiosity and a solid grasp of common statistical methods and their application in real-world scenarios.

• Capable of working independently while valuing mentorship and guidance, confidently addressing stakeholder inquiries and providing valuable insights.

• Take ownership of your responsibilities, utilizing available support to solve challenges and deliver meaningful results.

• Comfortable navigating uncertain or shifting priorities and adaptable in your approach to meet new challenges.

• Understand the connection between data insights and broader business objectives, with a keen desire to learn how to make strategic contributions.
