Data & Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and communicate a persuasive value proposition for AWS migration, effectively showcasing its transformative advantages to client executives.

• Design and implement technical migration and modernization strategies in partnership with highly skilled teams.

• Provide modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven designs, by utilizing managed services and cloud-native features.

• Collaborate with clients’ development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams to pinpoint repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration.

• Recognize opportunities for platform enhancements and shape future iterations of the AWS platform and the Migration Acceleration Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.

• Background in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.

• Familiarity with specific technology domains, including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, and analytics.

• Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect, overseeing the discovery, design, and development of custom and commercial applications.

• Proficient in Terraform & AWS CloudFormation for migration purposes.

• Experience utilizing AI tools (Kiro, Kiro Cli, or similar).

• Expertise in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.

• Knowledgeable about various migration discovery, profiling, automation, and operations tools and technologies.

• Experience with multi-tier distributed architecture within IT consulting, IT operations, application development, or support roles.

• Understanding of substantial IT budgets, intricate vendor relationships, and the capacity to collaborate across diverse teams to advocate for cloud migration.

• Strong understanding of multiple migration strategies, such as rehosting, refactoring, re-architecting, replatforming, and repurchasing.
