📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for business, technical, and leadership stakeholders.

• Design and deploy data visualization and reporting solutions that enhance the transparency of process evaluations, data integrity, and information governance initiatives.

• Create standardized project reporting and visualization tools, including Power BI dashboards, to deliver real-time insights into project progress, risks, key metrics, and technical milestones.

• Leverage Power BI and associated analytics tools to examine project data, recognize trends, and produce actionable insights that facilitate project planning, execution, and decision-making.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into effective data solutions.

• Clean, transform, merge, and model data from various sources to support analytics, reporting, and dashboard creation.

• Employ tools like Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks, such as generating status reports, sending task reminders, notifications, and tracking overdue tasks.

• Develop and sustain reusable project dashboards that offer real-time insights into project status, progress, and key performance indicators.

• Present complex data findings in a clear and actionable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Regularly share findings, reporting outputs, and actionable insights with stakeholders to aid in strategic planning and operational transparency.

• Promote continuous enhancement of reporting processes, data quality, dashboard usability, and analytics practices.

• Stay updated on Power BI advancements, reporting trends, and industry best practices to refine data solutions and visualization methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5 to 7 years of pertinent experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, or related fields.

• Proficient in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Familiarity with DAX for calculations, measures, and data modeling.

• Skilled in Power Query, including M language, for data transformation and preparation.

• Experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing intricate data models.

• Strong SQL capabilities for data extraction, manipulation, integration, and reporting from diverse data sources.

• Proven experience in writing efficient queries and optimizing database interactions.

• Background in designing user-friendly, interactive dashboards and reports for both business and technical users.

• Ability to convert complex metrics and datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles of user experience.

• Experience in cleaning, merging, transforming, and preparing data to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and data modeling.

• Capable of effectively communicating data findings, trends, and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Public Trust or client suitability requirements.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federal financial, budget, procurement, or spend plan data.

• Familiarity with budget spend plans, FFMS, or similar federal financial management systems.

• Understanding of the congressional budget cycle.

• Experience with SQL Server, Azure, or cloud-based data solutions.

• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.

• Experience supporting federal consulting, DHS, CISA, or similar government client environments.

• Experience using Power Automate to enhance reporting workflows, reminders, and stakeholder notifications.
