Data Analyst/QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated data quality checks utilizing AWS Glue data quality tools.

• Conduct schema validation for relevant filings prior to data ingestion.

• Oversee production ETL pipelines, ensuring that ETL Load Reports are updated in real-time.

• Develop, maintain, and implement test cases and automated tests that validate all user-facing platform functionalities.

• Perform static code and dependency analysis to detect bugs, vulnerabilities, and data quality issues.

• Assist with the agency's IV&V process by preparing IV&V Questionnaires and coordinating test submissions.

• Confirm that ETL metadata, data models, data dictionaries, and all necessary documentation are complete and accurate.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, gap analysis, record count reconciliation, and ad hoc query development.

• Experience with Python for test scripting and data analysis.

• Familiarity with AWS Glue data quality tools or equivalent frameworks such as Deequ or Great Expectations.

• Practical experience with CI/CD-integrated automated testing frameworks.

• Experience in supporting IV&V, UAT, or formal government acceptance testing processes.

• Knowledge of schema validation for XML datasets.

• Experience with large-scale financial or regulatory datasets is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of FISMA, NIST 800-53, OWASP ASVS Level 2, and federal secure software development standards.

• Must be available to work from 8am to 5pm Eastern Time, regardless of home location.

• An active federal public trust suitability determination or the ability to obtain one is required.
