This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and oversee sophisticated tracking setups utilizing Google Tag Manager, encompassing both web and server-side container configurations.
• Configure and verify conversion tracking across various paid media platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and additional digital advertising channels.
• Establish and manage native pixels, Conversion APIs, and other tracking mechanisms to enhance campaign attribution and data precision.
• Administer GA4 configurations, which include custom dimensions, custom metrics, enhanced measurement, event tracking, and cross-domain tracking.
• Create and maintain clean, client-facing dashboards using Looker Studio or native reporting tools from the platforms.
• Develop reporting systems that prioritize significant business outcomes, ROI, and performance insights over vanity metrics.
• Conduct audits of current client analytics accounts to detect tracking gaps, malfunctioning tags, attribution issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Diagnose tracking issues, rectify data discrepancies, and ensure reliable measurement setups across multiple accounts.
• Define and collaborate with custom data layers to capture essential website actions, dynamic events, form submissions, and conversion points.
• Assist with API, webhook, and CRM-related integrations to guarantee the accurate transfer of conversion data between websites, CRMs, and advertising platforms.
• Convert technical data findings into clear, succinct insights for account teams and clients.
• Monitor data quality and proactively explore performance declines, tracking failures, or unforeseen changes in reporting.
• Ensure that tracking implementations comply with privacy standards and adapt to contemporary data limitations, such as iOS updates and browser restrictions.
• Over 3 years of practical experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4 in intricate tracking settings.
• Strong background in managing analytics and tracking across multiple client accounts, preferably in an agency or media context.
• Advanced expertise in conversion tracking for paid media platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
• Demonstrated experience with pixels, server-side tracking, Conversion APIs, and troubleshooting attribution issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of GA4 setup, event tracking, custom dimensions, custom metrics, enhanced measurement, and cross-domain tracking.
• Experience in constructing dashboards using Looker Studio or comparable reporting tools.
• Strong technical grasp of HTML, CSS selectors, and custom JavaScript variables.
• Experience in capturing dynamic website events, form submissions, and other atypical conversion actions.
• Ability to define, implement, and troubleshoot custom data layers effectively.
• Familiarity with API or webhook integrations utilized for transmitting conversion data to CRMs or advertising platforms.
• Strong understanding of attribution models, conversion modeling, and privacy-related tracking challenges.
• Capacity to work independently, proactively investigate issues, and manage technical execution without constant oversight.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours of commitment per week.
