Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and convert them into data-driven solutions;

• Design and execute Power BI reports and dashboards that provide critical business insights;

• Develop and enhance data models within Power BI, ensuring optimal data integration and reporting performance;

• Create and oversee Power BI Dataflows, connecting and transforming data from diverse sources for reporting purposes;

• Write effective SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and transform data from various databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting;

• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI to develop measures and calculated columns for comprehensive analysis;

• Publish and manage Power BI reports and dashboards in the Power BI Service, ensuring accessibility and usability for stakeholders;

• Supervise the organization of reports within Power BI workspaces, including the management of permissions and access rights for users;

• Diagnose and optimize Power BI reports to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, or a related field;

• Over 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a strong emphasis on Power BI;

• Expertise in DAX for calculations and data modeling;

• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing;

• Familiarity with publishing, sharing, and managing reports in the Power BI Service, including workspace administration;

• Strong grasp of data visualization principles and best practices;

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data retrieval;

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities;

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
