Data Analyst – Investment Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Transform raw behavioral data into actionable insights for products.

• Establish the requirements and execute the pipeline that converts data into synthesized insights relevant to the industry.

• Streamline the automation of data from diverse sources into unified data categories.

• Assist in the productization of aggregated data insights obtained from these categories and provide them to AdvisorTarget clients.

• Create client files for distribution while analyzing data sets for trends and insights.

• Excel in a dynamic business setting with the capability to work autonomously.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a data analyst role within the investment management sector.

• Understanding of investments, particularly Morningstar asset classes and investment products.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Asset Management and Wealth Management sectors.

• Proficient in data pipelines and the automation of data insights.

• Enthusiasm for continuous self-education regarding the industries we serve, spotting trends, and transforming them into opportunities for our solutions.

• Team-oriented while thriving in a self-sufficient work atmosphere.

• Collaborate with the team's AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to amplify the capabilities of AdvisorTarget.

• Ability to convey technical findings as actionable insights to both internal stakeholders and clients directly.

• Organize and cleanse data from various sources to construct client files for delivery.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, Big Query, Looker (Data Studio), SQL scripting, Google Analytics (GA4), Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace services.

• Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) data structures for website analytics.

• Acquainted with AI tools and how to utilize their potential effectively.

• Capability to write SQL queries for retrieving specific datasets for stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Email Service Provider systems such as SendGrid and MailChimp for dispatching email newsletters.

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS coding.
