Data Analyst – Fraud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Examine fraud incidents, assess their repercussions, and deliver concise insights that guide prioritization and action.

• Suggest and enhance rule-based preventive measures.

• Create and sustain reports and dashboards to track fraud patterns.

• Collaborate closely with fraud operations, data analysts, engineers, and product managers.

• Actively recognize emerging trends and highlight risks before they develop into significant issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst (Fraud) or in a comparable position (4+ years, achievements may compensate for experience).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced skill level in SQL.

• Background in fraud, risk management, or financial services.

• A proactive approach to work.

• Some familiarity with Python or scripting for data manipulation and analysis.

• Proficiency in a BI tool (such as PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Superset, Redash, or equivalent).

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).

• Preference for autonomy and a flat organizational structure.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• A strong desire to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
