This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement intricate diagnostic and trend analyses across various systems and data sources
• Take ownership of dashboard and report development for designated data products, including managing release cycles and documentation
• Collaborate with data engineers to develop analytical logic and data models
• Spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate analytical methodologies, tools, and platforms
• Recognize and execute opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews and sessions for gathering requirements
• Convert business needs into data specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage backlog refinement and prioritize features
• Document workflows, decision logic, and designs for future processes
• Coordinate with the Data Product Lead and data engineers to sequence and deliver analytical capabilities
• Establish and enforce data quality rules
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata standards, and lineage documentation
• Plan and conduct QA and UAT, ensuring analytical outputs are validated before release
• Contribute to and uphold enterprise data governance and stewardship practices
• Mentor and guide Data Analyst I personnel
• Provide training to business users on data products and data literacy
• Create presentations for leadership and written reports that communicate insights driving decisions
• Engage in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in SQL
• Knowledgeable in Python or R
• Experienced in conducting diagnostic and trend analyses across multiple systems and data sources
• Skilled in developing dashboards, reports, analytical logic, and data models
• Familiar with data quality rules, data dictionaries, metadata standards, and lineage documentation
• Experienced in planning and executing QA and UAT
• Understanding of enterprise data governance and stewardship practices
• Capable of leading stakeholder interviews and gathering requirements
• Proficient in creating data specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Skilled in conducting backlog refinement and prioritizing features
• Capable of delivering training on data products and data literacy
• Able to participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• No specific certification or professional license is mandatory
• A driver's license is not necessary
