Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain effective dashboards, reports, and ongoing analyses utilizing Excel and/or Google Sheets.

• Establish consistent reporting methodologies from ERP, WMS, and other data exports.

• Generate reports encompassing sales, margins, purchasing, inventory, inbound/outbound operations, and financial aspects.

• Examine intricate inventory data, including consumption rates, inventory levels, JIT requirements, and restocking needs.

• Assist in forecasting and analyzing historical trends.

• Detect data quality issues and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reporting accuracy.

• Navigate ERP/WMS systems to locate source data and create valuable reports or dashboards.

• Automate repetitive data preparation and reporting processes wherever feasible.

• Document reporting methodologies, formulas, data sources, and update procedures.

• Convert business inquiries into precise, actionable analyses for leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient to expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation techniques.

• Experience in creating and managing recurring dashboards and analyses from frequent data uploads.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Background in handling operational data in distribution, warehousing, inventory management, logistics, or a similar field.

• Familiarity with inventory concepts, including JIT inventory and intricate inventory calculations.

• Capability to independently organize ambiguous challenges and devise solutions with minimal existing infrastructure.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets.

• Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems; familiarity with Sage is a bonus.

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA/macros, or other coding/automation skills.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

• Experience in developing forecasts or demand/consumption models.

• Background in a rapidly growing or operationally intricate distribution business.
