Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, and People Operations to pinpoint opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.

• Establish key performance indicators and create reporting solutions.

• Craft SQL queries and develop comprehensive dashboards.

• Conduct exploratory analyses and contribute to Python-driven analytics workflows.

• Grasp business priorities and the analytics requirements.

• Develop intricate analyses and reporting that bolster strategic initiatives and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Visualize and communicate analytical findings to prompt stakeholder engagement.

• Assist stakeholders in discovering new opportunities through data analysis.

• Generate, oversee, review, and evaluate reports and dashboards.

• Resolve reporting issues and perform root cause analyses.

• Leverage AI tools, including LLMs, copilots, and workflow automation platforms, to enhance analytical productivity and create scalable business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a similar quantitative field.

• Master’s degree or over 3 years of professional experience working with data, encompassing complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, and machine learning.

• Proficient SQL skills for data extraction and generating actionable datasets.

• Experience with Python for data processing and analytics tasks.

• Capability to perform analyses with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Ability to make significant decisions in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, with agility in adapting to new priorities.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent business judgment and communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative field.

• Preferred: experience in optimizing operational and financial performance.

• Preferred: experience in payments, financial services, banking, fintech, or BNPL.

• The interview process includes a Wonderlic test, coding assessment, recruiter interviews, verbal case study interview, and verbal behavioral interview.
