This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of externally-facing Tableau dashboards utilizing PAEA data.
• Manage the entire dashboard lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, data preparation, visualization design, testing, publishing, and iterative enhancement.
• Establish and implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring that dashboards are user-friendly, precise, and provide clear value to members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to convert business needs into effective, user-focused dashboard solutions.
• Create, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards that support internal operations and member-oriented offerings.
• Work with business units to define reporting requirements and refine business inquiries to ensure meaningful, actionable insights.
• Query, clean, aggregate, and transform data in accordance with data management and analytics best practices.
• Design and present data visualizations in Tableau and Salesforce for diverse audiences.
• Convert data into actionable insights and assist stakeholders in interpreting and utilizing findings for informed decision-making.
• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and completeness of PAEA’s data in line with the Association’s data model.
• Perform regular evaluations of data quality, especially within the Salesforce ecosystem, and identify areas for enhancement.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of data governance practices, which include data standards, definitions, and usage guidelines.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in roles concentrating on data analytics, reporting, or data management.
• Proficient in Tableau with a proven track record in the complete lifecycle of dashboard development.
• Experience in cleaning, validating, and ensuring the precision and consistency of data.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data structures, including experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms).
• Experience in querying and manipulating data using SQL, SOQL, and/or SOSL.
• Capacity to translate business inquiries into data requirements and deliver clear, actionable outputs.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to communicate findings to audiences of varying technical skill levels across different formats (i.e., live virtual interactions and written communication).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, demonstrating proficiency in remote work and collaboration with a remote workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, business analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Tableau-related certification (Data Analyst, Server Admin, Tableau Architect) and/or Salesforce-related certification (Data Analyst, Business Analyst) is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, including reporting, data management, or administrative support is preferred.
• Familiarity with APIs and API-related tools (e.g., Postman) is preferred.
