Data & AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs based on LLMs utilizing Amazon Bedrock, incorporating models such as Claude, Titan, Nova, and Cohere.

• Create retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using OpenSearch and S3.

• Construct data pipelines for both curated and raw data layers leveraging AWS Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.

• Facilitate real-time reporting and AI usage dashboards through Amazon QuickSight.

• Design serverless workflows with AWS Lambda and oversee prompt metadata management using DynamoDB.

• Execute prompt orchestration strategies, which include fallback handling, versioning, and safety guardrails.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure AI/ML delivery meets customer and project objectives.

• Clearly document solutions and assist in onboarding for effective handoff to client teams.

• Remain informed about AWS advancements in GenAI, MLOps, and scalable data platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based ML or GenAI systems.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services, including Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, OpenSearch, and QuickSight.

• Proficient in Python development, emphasizing data manipulation, API development, and automation.

• Preferred experience in implementing retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, or LLMOps workflows.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Git-centric workflows.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate AI system design and tradeoffs to both technical and business stakeholders in a client-facing, professional services setting.
