Dairy Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance and assistance to dairy consultants and clients during and post-product sales.

• Aid sales efforts with dairy ration formulation and provide ongoing training.

• Collaborate with consultants to deliver onsite technical assistance to existing customers and potential clients.

• Develop customer solutions and technical support resources tailored to specific clients.

• Conduct sophisticated research for product development to gain insights into product characteristics and system operations.

• Gather and analyze data for project updates while working alongside external suppliers to evaluate new products and technologies, making application recommendations.

• Organize project information and findings for internal and customer presentations, aid in product demonstrations, and serve as a subject matter expert during meetings with prospective clients.

• Keep abreast of product insights and research to enhance the value of offerings.

• Maintain application and value collection up to date in the relevant systems.

• Manage complex issues independently with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Dairy-related field) or equivalent experience.

• At least four years of relevant work experience.

• In-depth experience in dairy technical support and ration balancing formulation.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Proficiency with Dairy Ration Formulation and herd management software (PC Dart, Dairy Comp, Lely Horizon, Delpro, etc.).

• Experience in customer support.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
