D365 F&O Implementation Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, which includes Dataverse, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Develop and carry out test plans and scripts to ensure accurate data migration from legacy systems.

• Reduce errors during the transition to the new system.

• Work collaboratively with both technical and functional teams.

• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Provide updates on testing progress to project stakeholders.

• Assist in the testing and deployment strategy for transitioning from customized legacy infrastructure to a managed SaaS platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; dual citizens are not eligible.

• A Public Trust background investigation is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline is necessary.

• More than 5 years of experience in leading software testing initiatives within large-scale ERP or financial system deployments.

• Proven experience in consulting with external clients on complex projects, particularly in leadership capacities.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating UAT and working with stakeholders to validate business processes.

• Understanding of basic SQL and JSON/XML structures for data validation and integration troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including crafting test scripts, managing defects, and coordinating UAT.

• Knowledge of legacy system migration and data conversion strategies.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and reporting abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, particularly in a U.S. Government Community Cloud (GCC) setting.

• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft's Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) and Azure DevOps.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certification as a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or similar qualification.

• Preferred: general knowledge of federal accounting principles or internal controls.
