D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• The primary focus of this position is X++ development.

• Troubleshooting a malfunctioning posting process and enhancing standard D365 functionality without having to rebuild it from the ground up is essential.

• Integration with OData entities, Business Events, and linking third-party platforms to D365 is required.

• Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment are integral aspects of the role.

• Reporting tasks will arise, with relevant skills including SSRS, Electronic Reporting, and Power BI utilizing Entity Store.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical D365 F&O technical experience, particularly with Procure-to-pay related modules, alongside genuine X++ and AOT work.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate a live D365 codebase, comprehend existing components, and extend functionality without causing disruptions.

• Sufficient knowledge of Finance and Procurement processes to collaborate effectively with a functional consultant without requiring a business process overview for every development task.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, LCS, and standard D365 ALM methodologies.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Experience in X++ development, AOT, and Version Control (git).

• Integration expertise: OData, Business Events, and Azure Logic Apps or Functions.

• Capability to debug a malfunctioning D365 process comprehensively and articulate the issues encountered.

• Experience in ALM: Azure DevOps, Git, LCS, and environment management.
