Cybersecurity Engineer – SOAR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer technical knowledge and practical experience in developing innovative solutions within the cybersecurity domain.

• Create and implement automation processes in response to security incidents.

• Actively collaborate, develop, and design security orchestrations alongside subject matter experts, engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders.

• Demonstrate the ability to navigate and adapt within a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a team of like-minded, cross-functional professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in Python development.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.

• At least 3 years of experience in software development with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) integration.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages like C#, JavaScript, or Node.js.

• Experience in API development and consumption.

• Previous consulting experience is required.

• Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity platforms such as SOAR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, and Endpoint Security.

• Experience using SOAR tools, including Swimlane, Cyber Triage, and Phantom.

• Familiarity with container services like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in Linux administration.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk.

• Proficient in Agile methodologies.

• Previous experience in a government or large enterprise setting.

• Possession of a government security clearance.
