Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in the field of security.

• Drive Cybersecurity initiatives with a focus on CMMC Compliance.

• Offer security guidance and expertise to business and project stakeholders.

• Conduct security risk assessments.

• Document customer systems and serve as a liaison between ComTec and Cybersecurity vendors.

• Oversee assigned tickets and tasks.

• Create tasks and milestones for security projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology.

• At least two (2) years of experience in Cybersecurity.

• One (1) year of experience in CMMC compliance.

• Information Security credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and ISSAP are advantageous.

• Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) required.

• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 or 800-53 is preferred.

• Experience in Vulnerability Management.

• Strong expertise in security architecture, including extensive knowledge of IT network security and cloud technologies.

• Solid background in Network Engineering with a deep understanding of Windows Server architecture.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft security architecture, troubleshooting, and various server/workstation peripherals.
