This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Design, establish, and implement comprehensive security architectures for all Engineering projects and systems, including upcoming products that integrate AI/ML technology.
• Lead, uphold, and advance the multi-year security architecture roadmap, ensuring it remains agile and aligned with business goals, product innovation, and the changing threat landscape.
• Create secure frameworks for AI/ML deployments and oversee the long-term transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to outline the overarching product security strategy, ensuring that security is a fundamental enabler of product innovation and large-scale payment orchestration.
• Act as the primary security advisor for international market expansion, ensuring that architecture complies with regional data residency requirements, localized payment regulations, and international standards.
• Suggest updates to corporate security policies to ensure that controls evolve alongside the business, specifically focusing on compliance with PCI DSS, ISO-27001, ISO-27701, ISO-42001, and emerging payment security regulations across global markets.
• Offer technical guidance for Engineering teams and lead security-focused cross-functional and business-driven projects.
• Remain informed about the latest security trends, threat intelligence, and attack vectors to continuously enhance the security posture.
• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, emphasizing the design, planning, and integration of enterprise-class security systems.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting security for emerging technologies, including AI/ML and advanced cryptographic systems.
• In-depth expertise in IT security architecture, cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and network security.
• Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability testing, and conducting security assessments within a high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001.
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript).
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Expertise in developing scalable security solutions, including enhancing API security and authentication while safeguarding global data flows.
• A proactive and curious mindset, with the capability to think like a malicious actor to foresee risks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing the needs of diverse stakeholders across various global regions.
