Cybersecurity Analyst – IT Contingency Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Formulate and propose enterprise-level IT contingency-management policies and guidance that align with DoD standards.

• Evaluate system-owner contingency plans, exercises, and associated documents for adherence, thoroughness, and uniformity.

• Monitor corrective actions, track implementation progress, conduct plan reviews, and manage necessary updates.

• Report instances of noncompliance to the Government.

• Assist in the reporting and visualization of the IT contingency-management compliance status to enhance leadership awareness.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to improve the consistency, efficiency, and repeatability of the DHRA IT Contingency Management Program.

• Leverage senior information-assurance expertise in NIST RMF controls, compliance evaluation, POA&M activities, Tier 3 troubleshooting, and site-level IA leadership to oversee contingency management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of ten years of relevant experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• An active Secret clearance is necessary.

• Secret clearance is required for duties that involve classified information or SIPRNet access.

• Proficiency in NIST RMF controls is essential.

• Experience in compliance analysis is required.

• Familiarity with POA&M-related tasks is necessary.

• Experience in Tier 3 troubleshooting is required.

• Demonstrated site-level information assurance leadership experience is essential.

• Capability to develop enterprise-level IT contingency-management policies and guidance in accordance with DoD requirements.

• Competence in evaluating system-owner contingency plans, exercises, and related artifacts for compliance, thoroughness, and consistency.
