This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in conducting assessments of cybersecurity risks.
• Review and analyze security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess documentation in accordance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Provide support for control evaluations utilizing NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Document evidence and findings from assessments.
• Engage in stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Aid in the creation of both executive and technical reports.
• Keep project documentation and action items up to date.
• Assist in tracking remediation efforts and risk documentation.
• Collaborate with senior cybersecurity professionals.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 or NIST SP 800-171.
• Outstanding written communication abilities.
• Experience in reviewing technical documentation.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Security+ certification is preferred.
• CISSP Associate or CISSP certification is preferred.
• Experience with GRC platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with CJIS, FedRAMP, or CMMC is preferred.
• Previous experience in government consulting is preferred.
• Experience in conducting cybersecurity assessments is preferred.
