This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Safeguard the organization’s digital banking systems and protect sensitive member information from cyber threats.
• Continuously monitor and assess security events across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Identify system vulnerabilities and execute risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain security controls that protect PCI data and cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents and investigate their root causes.
• Address end-user support tickets related to security issues.
• Oversee documentation, request processing, training, and assigned projects.
• Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Document and maintain security testing, report findings, and support remediation efforts.
• Research emerging risks, threats, vulnerabilities, capabilities, and solution options.
• Support enterprise incident management, security monitoring, alert evaluation, and follow-up investigations.
• Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management monitoring.
• Create, interpret, and monitor IT general controls in collaboration with IT control owners.
• Interact with third-party managed security service providers for system testing and monitoring.
• Review threat intelligence and recommend enhancements to the security posture.
• Assist internal and external auditors during examinations and address audit recommendations.
• Associate’s Degree.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience upon hire.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Defender, and Office 365 security controls.
• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and PCI Data Security Standard.
• Understanding of industry frameworks such as NIST and ISO.
• Capability to evaluate IT controls, including PCI DSS, security, and privacy policies and standards.
• Demonstrable knowledge of cybersecurity risks along with relevant techniques and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and align them with appropriate security controls.
• Experience in vulnerability testing.
• Ability to plan and implement ongoing testing and monitoring programs.
• Knowledge of IT operational infrastructure, including business continuity.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage detailed workloads.
• Capability to work intuitively and independently; audit, analyze, and organize tasks and projects.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across business units and organizations.
• Ability to comprehend complex business initiatives.
• Working knowledge of system tools for security event management, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection, including cloud offerings.
• Ability to transition into various positions and work in tight and confined spaces.
• Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Ability to adjust or move objects weighing up to 15 pounds in all directions.
• Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
• Ability to type and execute fine-finger movements.
• Ability to verbally communicate important or detailed instructions.
• Ability to hear average or normal conversations.
• Ability to prepare or inspect documents or products and operate office machinery with average visual acuity.
