This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Ensure that technical controls align with information security policy requirements.
• Facilitate education, training, and awareness initiatives related to security policies.
• Oversee adherence to DaVita’s information security policies and relevant laws.
• Coordinate the investigation and documentation of security incidents.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine IT security protocols.
• Conduct regular assessments for vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications.
• Develop actionable modifications or recommendations based on risk assessments and audit outcomes.
• Guide and mentor security analysts and IT colleagues on a global scale.
• Act as a subject matter expert in one or more technology areas.
• Design and oversee security measures across various IT functional domains, including data, systems, networks, and web.
• Create and disseminate information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Generate security status reports and devise risk analysis scenarios along with response strategies.
• Monitor and track IT security incidents until resolution.
• Manage and supervise security profiles.
• Analyze security violation reports and probe potential security exceptions.
• Update, maintain, and document security controls as necessary.
• Assess products and processes to improve productivity and efficacy.
• Provide direct security assistance to both business and IT personnel.
• Educate business and IT teams about security policies and offer consultations on security matters.
• Advocate for organizational security needs and share expertise on security considerations in IT projects.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in healthcare reimbursement is preferred.
• Familiarity with admissions, billing, and collections is preferred.
• Understanding of insurance regulations, rules, and Coordination of Benefits for federal, state, and managed care payors across multiple states is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
