Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize and execute security protocols to ensure adherence to federal compliance and safeguard computer systems, networks, and data.

• Evaluate and record security vulnerabilities, breaches, and cyber incidents to assess their effects and enhance security protocols.

• Create and put into action network disaster recovery strategies to guarantee uninterrupted business operations.

• Supervise the surveillance of computer networks for security threats and adopt proactive strategies to mitigate potential risks.

• Install and manage security applications and measures, such as firewalls and data encryption tools, to protect systems and information infrastructure.

• Remain updated on the latest security developments and guidelines, particularly those pertinent to federal contracts, and provide recommendations to strengthen security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Cyber Security.

• Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security, especially within federal contract settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security best practices for federal compliance.

• Familiarity with FedRamp and other applicable federal regulations.

• Strong grasp of network infrastructure, protocols, and security technologies.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
